2nd Global Feminisms and Queer Politics Virtual Seminar
After participating in the 19th IUAES-WAU World Anthropology Congress, held in New Delhi / India, with the aim of disseminating the work presented during the Congress in the area of gender and sexuality, the IUAES Commission on Global Feminisms and Queer Politics had the pleasure of organizing a new virtual seminar, broadcast live on the IEG YouTube channel /UFSC.
The event featured the participation of anthropologists from different countries, and a lecture on the theme “Feminist Anthropology in India”, given by Indian anthropologist Nilika Mehrotra, from Jawaharlal Nehru University and space for manifestos “Against the supreme court decision on same-sex marriage right” (India) and “For the presence of women in universities and the scientific field”
(Spain).
